This is a thread for sharing what software you use, or what physical objects you use.

Ex.
I use SAI and Microsoft Picture It! Premium for my Digital production.
I use Mechanical and Wood pencils for basic drawing, and Colored pencils for adding color to a picture.

and unless somethings changed, the full versions should still cost money... Ya know... Unless you "make" it free (Pirate it or such).

You should be able to find it if you just search SAI.

Also, i got the Full version for free.. but I did not pirate it. Friend gave it to me

I use a .5 mechanical pencil and black sharpies. I also have a set of Bic markers that I never use. :p
I've only used gimp once. It's much too difficult to properly use it with a mouse though, so it just sits on my desktop now and gathers dust.

Gimp does take a little getting use to tbh. Photoshop is much easier, but it costs too much.

Nah. There is a guy in my digital art class that is hooking me up with the previous Photoshop version. His friend cracked it for him, and he is transferring the files to my flashdrive. It'll make my class work so much easier, but it'll also allow me to do some pretty sweet stuff with my actual art.

Thats kinda how i got SAI.
My sister's friend got it, and she had a code automaker, So she had the software and a code and therefor got the premium version for free.
Thats how i got SAI. File transfer, but abit different process.

Very nice. Well, I got the full version by somehow changing a single line of code on the trial version. I honestly don't remember how, but I saw it from a youtube vid.

Edit: AAAAWWWWWWWYYYYAAAAAA!!!! I just got Photoshop for free! It's not the latest version, but hell if I care. It'll still help me in class a lot, and when I actually make time, help me with my pony-art too.

An acquaintance of mine in my art class gave it to me. His friend cracked it for him a while back, and he transferred the files to my flashdrive.

But if your looking to download it, ask Lollus or Bary. Those two can usually help you get your hands on anything you want.

Might be a bit late for me to say but...why the hell not?

I use GIMP for finished projects (colors, aliasing, etc.) and Paper n' Pencil for basic forms and details.
