Little + and - signs next to posts. Essentially voting up or down posts of other people for relevance and such.

That's basically so you can see what people's opinions are of others.
So if somepony has a lot of red, they're either not very nice, or getting trolled.

At the upper right side, near the avatar, of any post that isn't yours, you'll be able to see a + and a - option, each one gives or takes one point from reputation form that person...it's a way of showing how much you approve the post or not, and it ends up showing how popular or approved they are...through the reputation...
