Merchandise and Con

This thread is for everypony to post their merchandise on and talk about and/or post about their experiences at a (Brony)Con or Brony Fair.

I decided to make a new page for this since it would be better suited than just having it in any of the Gen Discussion areas.

Okay, so I went to a T-3 (meaning 1K or less people) ranked Con this past weekend. I stayed for 2 of the 3 days, but missed the Rave night.

My RL Brony group has many admins/creators of official pony stations or game servers, and they normally do coverage of cons (2 of them even went to Los Pegasus [and were int he room when they told all the media members that shit loads of money went missing and that the con was a huge failure XD]). Anyway. They needed some camera ponies for this Con, and offered to pay for the badges (the Con passes) and hotel rooms and such. So I figured that since that'd save me around 200 USD, that I'd go ahead and drive to it (the drive there and back still cost 200 USD roughly... So make sure you have lots of money when you go to a con, so that you can still buy some Merchandise).

I got to record interviews and panels. We had the guy that VAd Sorin there. That's when I learned that he was also the VA for Ed from Ed Edd n Eddy AND Rafael from the most well known TMNT movies (needless to say, I fangasmed XD). I actually even got to talk to him in person, which was also exciting.
I also recorded some live fan-fic readings, attend an art panel (mostly just a doodle panel, but oh well), and spent LOTS of time in the merchandise area (and more money than I said I'd spend too..)

There were only 2 down sides of the Con imo.
#1, it could have been better organized. We didn't get a full weekend schedule, we only got daily ones, which is very very rare to see at cons..
#2... Well.. There was another guest at the Con. But it seems there was a little misunderstanding.. The other guest did work on MLP.. But not FIM.. He worked on the "direct to DVD MLP" aka... G3.5. I actually felt sorry for that guy, because the next day when his panel came around (after his first panel where he said that) no pony showed up. Literally.. Just one of my fellow camera ponies and 2 others were there.. Out of a crowd of around 200 people. I hope the guy wasn't to hurt from that.

Note#2: I didn't take many pics of the Con, as I was too busy recording the entire Con. So when the vids get posted, I'll post y'all the more worth while vids of the con.

This Con was held in Dallas, Texas. There will be another one there in a few months called "nightmare night" (soooo going to that one XD). But before that, there will be a T-1 Con in Houston (T-1 is the BIGGEST Con you can go to, it also has the most VAs at it.. So I might get to see some of the major Voice Actors from MLP there. :D)
I might repost the U.S. Con schedule if I can find it again (and if it's been updated).

Summing it up. I am the guy on the left from the guy in the red at the start. The 1st half of the vid was cut out, my guess is because my fellow camera pony got a close up of my face, and they didn't want the viewers to die from ugliness overload. XD
Also, that dance was an EXERCISE! That's why people were saying stuff like "my leg" and "my whole body." That's also why people started lagging behind the song, because our muscles started to refuse to move as fast.
Also, at the end I said (that's right, I said it) "everyone fall on someone!" To which my 'boss' responded "NO DON'T DO THAT!"

Why would you get merchandise if you're a closet Brony?

I am not really a closet Brony anymore GC. The only people that I NEVER want to know about my Bronidom are my family members. Other than that, I don't really give a buck what others find out. So, I bought some things that make me happy, and hung them in my room.
