It will probably depend on how long it takes for recovery to get there. The longer people go without help, the more desperate they are., after all.

I guess people from the East Coast have problems equivalent to the people from the West, but different conditions. East Coast has dangerous thunderstorms and hurricanes while the people from the West Coast have earthquakes.

Thing is, We haven't had any major earthquakes on the West Coast in a long while, so we're all holding our breath for the predicted Megaquake that we're supposedly overdue for.....

Oh, and we may or may not have to worry about the Yellowstone Caldera, too.

California is a safe zone from the ash, or at least most of it.

Hmm, the epicenter is supposed to be in Los Angeles. I might get hit hard by it since I live in a Valley by LA County.

Well my day has been badish... lack of sleep and my stomach feeling like it wants to explode, and the fact I found out I got a hater who sits next to me in GD. Other then that normal... But my stomach has been killing me since 4th period, end of the day class for my school, so i may end up not going to school, which I will dislike somewhat.

My day had an awesome start, that storm caused some damage and power outages (But not to my house! ) So school was shut down! Twi Clap

So, now im staying home, in my warm fuzzy PJ's, only bad thing is we ran out of hot chocolate...

Hurricane Sandy's done some damage over here too, heh.
But I wasn't as lucky as you, because yesterday, the power went out at like 1:52 PM and didn't come back until around 3:55AM.

So my day has been pretty good for once, except in Blowing if one pin didn't prevent one from falling, I would of gotten a Turkey and may have broke 200 for the first time... Also some other stuff came up with my grandma is here that has me uneasy about what they think of me.
[EDIT] now that there gone for now, I can say they expect me to either end up being the fat slob living in an apartment, or the guy who'll be married right around age 20.... Striking out the last part, didn't want to cause offense to anypony here,

My day was alright, my sister left to go back up to her college, i went out shopping, saw my cousin, and well, played with a few Brony friends on PSN.
It sucked from 7 to 11 since i couldn't leave my room under my dad's orders.. So i got REALLY thirsty and miserable, but now i got water and im good. Sweetie Cute

Sounds like fun.

Well, today I changed my oil, washed the camper, waxed the Kayaks, and picked my dad up from the airport.
Then finished the day by watching Sherlock Holms.

And tomorrow... School work (thanks school) and studying (who gives a test the day you get back from a break?), then some more chores, then to the gun range, then more stuff (as my dad hates standing still) and so on. So... Lots of non-break-rest related things.

(You all need to know, no need having any more of the people I can trust worrying what happened on Saturday...)
Short story since I really do not want to go into great detail, but because my dad has been on parole and was about to get released from it December 3rd, it's been technically illegal to take me hunting since my rifle would be in HIS possession since I am not 18... We get pulled over and he was arrested, I could of for not knowing 100% if the rifle was registered to me or my sis. Short story I had to stand out int he cold for 2 hours, as my dad was arrested and they were talking about how to deal with me. I was basically treated as if I could have been a criminal myself. I ended up getting searched for any weapons, I may have to spend the next few years unable to even see my father again, and I have been emotionally destroyed. I will be like this for many many months if he is found guilty of the charges. (Also my Rifle is now evidence currently...) So if I seem down/ not around when I usually am, you'll all know why.
