I was about to say that Sand. I'm SOOOO going to spend $60 for the collectors edition. I want that epic Ultra skin, get the feel of OP Torrasque from SCI... I also want those decals and ports. One looks like a hybrid. Also release date is the 12th.Wolf of the Sand wrote:HOTS release date confirmed! March 13th 2013

Re: Starcraft II discussion
Today I made my Star Craft II experience much more awesome. I decided to bump up the graphics somewhat, and now I have moving unit portraits (yay) and the buildings the have been placed to get built appear as those awesome holograms you see in the official SCII vids. The power grids for Protoss Pylons also look really awesome, compared to the circle you usually get.
I also managed to keep the Odin alive on Media Blitz (The level where you upload the shit against Mensk to the radio towers) and was able to beat that level with Minerals, Odin and a pair of SCVs.
Oh, and that training I said I was gonna do...I kinda couldn't be bothered with that. I just restarted the campaign.

Re: Starcraft II discussion
Don't see either of the mistakes. Protos is written right. I know the race is called Protoss. The original word is called Protos. And I can't find the T lord :/

...... facehoof One day, I'm off one day and I Buck up the name.... But they are first for late game T3 units, Terran lack good T3, and Zerg, we need to lose the OP Infestor fungal growth.

Re: Starcraft II discussion
I found some pretty awesome Custom Maps yesterday, one unlocks nearly of the Terran stuff you get during Campaign (Diamondback, Goliath, Medic and such) but you can't get the Orbital Command Centre upgrade regrettably. That map also gives Zerg players the Scrouge, and I'm not sure about Protoss. It's a 4v4 map, but the size isn't too big so combat can occur early in the game.
The other one I played is just amazing too, it's got the Standard units, and it's also a 4v4, but it's MASSIVE. Each player gets two really close expansions to use, so you can boost your income with that. The map is also so big that, depending on where your enemy spawned, it can take ages for combat to begin.
Also, if anyone on the European Region wants to play with/against me, just ask, I'm getting bored of the predictable AI.

Re: Starcraft II discussion
I wish I had a EU account. And no matter the size, combat can always happen early. Depends on who macros up an army faster.

Re: Starcraft II discussion
The problem is is that the map is so Bucking big it's really hard to find the enemy, so I wait until they find me and I have a sizable army to go and beat them up with. Time to go and do some stuff! (Who knows what? :O)

Re: Starcraft II discussion
Scouting with a probe/drone/scv very early is key there. maps with multiple spawn points, you scout out earlier.

I prefer to keep my worker in the base so it gathers minerals for me. Otherwise the stupid little bitch might go and get himself killed.

Re: Starcraft II discussion
That's what usually happens. but you can scout and see if the Terran went early gas so you can prep for early reapers etc. Scouting is majorly important, in league.

I can't be bothered, too much multitasking required between scounting with that little bitch and building my own stuff up.

All you do is send it out, and go back to work and watch your mini map. There's a reason why master leaguers have over 200 Actions per min (APM)
