That was the awesome. but most of those were lines were actually in-game Stalker speeches to.. But now she is married to a broken down handicapped Void worshipping Protoss...

Welp, I finally did it. I beat SCII on hard...
mostly... XD
I had to tone-down 2 levels to normal to beat them. Which included the last level. Which pisses me off, because my 2nd time through it on hard, I got to 99.5% charged when they destroyed it... I was so mad (after that, I couldn't get past 85%). So I had to tone it down.. And interestingly enough, the difficulty level between normal and hard is a huge gap.

Out of interest, what did you decide to take out, the Air Support or the Nydus Worms?

I decided to go a different rout this time, and took out the Worms. But tbh, I'd take out the air any other time... N.Worms aren't much of a threat, and they can still drop in air units behind your back. So taking out the air not only gets rid of the B.L's and the other flying enemies, but also their ability to drop units behind you.

I chose air because it's just alot easier to defend and kill worms instead of Brood Lords, Multalisks and the eventual leviathan. Also sadly that mass ovi drop still happens, but that is alot easier to deal with then a bucking leviathan and kerrigan!
My artifacty had like 500 hp left when I beat it. Base gone, just last stand mode.

Though no matter what, I lose, cause I am god awfully terrible at the game....

haha we all suck vs certain races. For example my weakest race to vs. is Protoss, and my strongest is Zerg. I can almost win a top 8 Silver leaguer without being ranked, but fail to a top 100 Bronze Protoss.

I can only manage to survive by creating a web of bunkers and siege tanks as Terran. I can't survive as any other race, and I can't launch decent attacks using Terran :P

Im just terrible at the game! Twi Down

When you watch pros play, you learn that playing defense isn't smart. Literally your best defense is a good offense, units>static defenses.

What I usually do is block the entrance ramps with defensive structures, so for Terran that would be bunkers with a Supply Depot inbetween to allow units to move across, flanked by Missile Turrets and Sensor Pylons, and once I get them, a pair of siege tanks. Keep a couple of SCVs nearby to keep eveything in shape.
With Protoss, I just block the ramps with a shitload of turrets, but it means you have to get a Forge up sharpish for it to work. Supplement it with backup pylons and a few stalkers it should be fine.
I find that those two methods are great for holding off enemy assaults, just so long as you rebuild what you lost in the last assault ans fast otherwise you could be overwhelmed. Also make sure to keep an excellent mobile force in back up 1) because after they've attacked you they will be very weak and 2) incase they sneak some Air Support round the back of your base.
The best I cam off for Zerg is to keep a massive army. I find that a shitload of Mutalisks can actually destroy anything with great speed as well as being able to tolerate much damage. The drawback is you have to get a Spire up as soon as you can, make sure you have lots of larvae and Vespene Gas. In the mean time, supplement your defenses with other units, Zerglings, Hydralisks, Roaches and the like.

Hope any of these helped!

Mutalisks, tanks? Please, they are fragile as HELL if it comes to anti air.
Wall for Terran and Protoss are only manditory against Zerg to stop 6pool rushes. Best starting strat I know of for Toss is Forge Fast Expand (FFE) where you put up a Nexus being made, then put a pylon close to where you can power the wall, put a forge down, gateway, when the forge finishes one cannon behind, and a Cybercore and have enough room to put a Zealot on hold position to finish the wall.
Zerg wall ins are a pain inb the ass to do, as you need a Queen to spread enough creep, and a certain map...

Calling all SCII fans, major update worth watching for HOTS.

Short example, watching replays in groups.
